Party/Prizes Handout

NBG Party Chairperson(s): Serena/Paul. Could us a Co-Chair --let us know if interested.
Details:
- RSVP: In Slack, put checkmark to "party Slack message." This message will be posted 1-2 weeks before the season ends.
- When: 8/1/2019, 7-9:30-ish pm, Thursday (head on over to SBC immediately after your round).
- Where: Season 3 at Scottsdale Beer Company, 8608 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 - Reservations @ 7pm under "NBG/GoDaddy"
- What: Present prizes, have a beer/appetizer hang out with fellow golfers & have a great time!
Food/Drink:
- In an effort to keep membership dues low (Nothin' But Golf!) & prize amounts high, we're not planning on food/drinks provided by our NBG Golf League. Of course, most us will be ordering food/drinks on our own dime.
Prizes
- Scorecards: IMMEDIATELY take a pic of your scorecard & Slack to the NBG Leaderboard Chair (Justin) so we can determine prize winner before the afterparty begins. One of the Commishes (Stefan or Paul) will get the Proxy sheets for: 1. Longest Drive, Closest to Pin, Longest Putt.

Ideas/Help
- It's "OURS!!": Talk w/ other golfers about what you want. Send ideas to the NBG Party Chairperson. E.g. What venue would you like? Format of the celebration? How much are you willing to pay?
- When: Most people I've spoken with would like the Celebration on the last day of the season immediately after the playoff round of golf. This is consistent with most golf tournaments...
- Location/Venue: Depends on the "F" words --funds, food. See below. GoDaddy Scottsdale office, Starfire Golf Club OR other venue...
- Food/Drink: In an effort to keep membership dues low (Nothin' But Golf!) & cost of prizes high, we're not planning on tons of food provided by our NBG Golf League. If at Starfire, there is flexibility where each person can purchase food/drink at each person's option. If at GoDaddy, we could do a potluck.
- Funds/Costs: Most people want to keep costs low. If you would like a larger party, we can all chip in extra. Next season we can raise the membership dues. Otherwise, we'll make due with what we have currently for funds.
